This presentation explores how to better inform safety net policymaking by using different poverty measures (including the official and supplemental poverty measures and state measures), modeling proposed state or local policy reforms, and simulating results.

This presentation was given at the 2013 National Association of Welfare Research and Statistics (NAWRS) Annual Workshop.
